Implantology and Aesthetic Reconstruction – Incisor replacement and restoration of fractured teeth

Implant therapy and dental reconstruction following a facial trauma.

The dental system is essential for carrying out important daily activities such as eating and talking.

For this reason, when the teeth suffer damage, it is necessary to request the intervention of a specialist doctor who can restore their state of health.

In this clinical case, therapies belonging to two dental disciplines were performed:

Implantology, which deals with reintegrating missing teeth through the implantation of dental prostheses;
Aesthetic reconstruction, which deals with correcting morphological defects of the teeth using small prosthetic structures.

Clinical Case – Implantology and dental reconstruction therapy following a facial trauma

We present a case performed by Dr. Claudio Di Gioia of implantology and aesthetic reconstruction to restore the dental health of a patient.

This patient suffered a facial trauma which resulted in the loss of the right central incisor and the fracture of the left central incisor and both lateral incisors.
Therefore, the lost incisor was replaced by a dental implant, while the fractured teeth were reconstructed with composite substances. Thanks to these therapies, the patient has regained his smile: he has recovered the full functionality of the dental system and has a healthy appearance again.

The images shown clearly show the optimal result of the therapy performed by Dr. Claudio Di Gioia.
