At Di Gioia Dental Practice we treat complex cases with a multidisciplinary approach: we carry out integrated diagnostic analyses between the various dental specialties and formulate therapeutic treatment plans shared among our Doctors.

Clinical case – Multidisciplinary treatment with orthodontic therapy, implantology and prosthetics.

We present a multidisciplinary case performed by Doctors Di Gioia which required the integration of orthodontic therapies, implantology and the fabrication of dental prostheses.

The multidisciplinary approach makes it possible to solve particularly challenging problems, as in the case of this young patient, suffering from malocclusion with severe crowding and complete lack of teeth in the left hemimandible.
The patient complained of difficulties in phonation, in chewing and psychological discomfort due to the imperfection of the smile.

Thanks to the treatment received from our dentists, the problems concerning gingival inflammation, periodontal disease and the orthodontic malocclusion were solved and chewing was reconstructed in the area where the molars were missing.
