Clinical case – Multidisciplinary intervention of orthodontics and surgery.

We present a multidisciplinary case performed by Doctors Claudio and Eliana Di Gioia, who intervened with surgical treatment and the application of an orthodontic appliance.

The clinical status of the patient consisted in the persistence of the central milk incisors, retention in the gingiva of the permanent central incisors, asymmetry of the upper central incisors.

Dr. Claudio intervened surgically by extracting the milk teeth and uncapping the permanent incisors retained in the gum; Dr. Eliana intervened by applying the orthodontic appliance responding to the different phases of the treatment and defining an optimal development of the teeth.
